| The Trail of Painted Ponies is a collection of figurines based on the life sized public art project of the same name. The original Trail of Painted Ponies consisted of life-sized fibreglass ponies, painted and decorated by top artists from across the USA. They were displayed in public places throughout New Mexico, after which they were auctioned off with most of the proceeds going to youth, arts, social, cultural, animal and environmental non-profit organizations.
The famous producers of the Cow Parade figurines, now brings to the world of collecting this new Horse collecton. Collectors across the world are falling in love with the beautiful and often humorous Painted Ponies figurines, with people collecting not just one or two Ponies, but entire sets. Each figurine has it's own unique mint number to make them truely collectable, they are either resin or ceramic, and each is hand-numbered.(much like 'Franklin Mint' items).
The Ponies have brought joy and delight into the lives of thousands of people, and their artistic excellence has generated rave reviews in newspapers and magazines. |
